Naeem Alston

Naeem Alston is a multi-faceted musician who uplifts culture through different mediums such as: percussion, composing, producing and/or performing. Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, later moving to the Humboldt County. Naeem has grown up drumming in the Danza Azteca tradition. He also has an instrumental beat tape background and was largely influenced by this father and other underground electronic DJs and musicians. Naeem explores different genres allowing for his unique perspectives and musical backgrounds to guide his approach to music making.
